Apostle Walter Phillips

Walter Phillips, Jr. was educated in the Nashville Metropolitan School Systems and graduated from Stratford High School.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Theology and a Masters Degree in Christian Theology/Biblical Studies from Emmanuel Bible College in Nashville, TN. He is also a Certified Staff Chaplain with the completion of seven units that is accredited from the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc.

Apostle Phillips is the Co- Founder and Senior Pastor of the former United Kingdom of Believers (UKOB) International of Nashville, Tennessee. UKOB was birthed out of hearing a call from God to unify the Body of Christ in brotherly love to win Souls to Christ. Prior to the forming of UKOB, Apostle Phillips was the Founder and Pastor of Christ Temple Christian Center in Madison, TN for fifteen years. 


Apostle Phillips as a child served as a faithful member of the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church where he participated in various auxiliaries. As a teenager and young adult, he served as an Assistant Director of the Baptist Missionary and Educational (BM&E) Community Choir. He continued his search for God’s will as he later united with the First Baptist South Inglewood Church under the leadership of the late Pastor T.E. Sweeney. There he accepted his call into the gospel ministry and served as an Associate Minister, he also served as a Director of the Young Adult Choir, Youth Choir and Young Adult/Youth Bible Study Teacher. Apostle Phillips, further sought counsel with the late Pastor James Turner of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, where he and his family united and where he served as the Administrator of the Music Department and as an Associate Minister before accepting his assignment to Pastor The First Baptist Church of Hopewell, there he served for eleven faithful years and the church experienced tremendous growth in many areas of ministry.

In 2014 Pastor Phillips accepted the call to the office of an Apostle of Jesus Christ and was consecrated in 2015. He is presently served in Columbus, GA where he assisted his father Walter Phillips Sr., as the Assistant Pastor at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church until the divine transition of his father. 
Apostle Phillips is married to the former Lanitra M. Williams and of this union are four children, seven beautiful grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is a humanitarian and serves diligently locally, nationally and internationally. He has a great concern for winning Souls, for the healing of hurting people and promoting order among the Body of Christ. He is a man of integrity that has absolutely accepted the clarion call from God and will not compromise the Word of God.
